I don't think this really fits any of the other forums, so I'll post in general.

Anyhoo.. I want to be able to read Kanji, Hiragana and Katakana on the web, like when I get email with Kanji of the day. It's just a question mark. I have a new laptop and I can't remember how I did it on the old computer.

Can anyone help me out?

If for some reason you don't have access to your installation disks (I have this problem with my work computer), you can set it up so you can read (although not type) Japanese on the computer just by installing an unicode font:

(You may have to play with the 'character encoding' settings in your browser to get this to work.)
