But what about But?
I heard that they have phrases like but, and then foreigners always wonder ‘But what?,’.
But what is the japanese word for but?,
But what is the word for But? and how do you say But what in japanese?,
And are their different forms but, like polite etc?

RE: But what about But?
In what context? There are many different ways to supply contrastive conjunctions or to say "but" or "however" -- which one is used often depends on what is intended to be said.

“I'd like to go but…”
…… Is a context I can think of, that could be used in the meaning I mean.
“I'd like this but I can't afford it”, would be another But to be interested in knowing.

RE: But what about But?
list of "buts"
17 different "buts" right there.
I wouldnt know how to use them all in context tho. The most commonly used are しかし, でも and けど I think. Or atleast those are the ones that I seem to hear most often.
