Firefox and furigana

Post by tanuki » Thu 10.11.2007 9:50 pm

Hello!

How are you doing?

In another thread I read that "Firefox supports them [ruby tags] currently only with the appropriate addon installed."

May I know what is this add-on that allows furigana to be seen with Firefox? Where can I download it?

Thank you in advance! :)

Keep in mind it doesn't apply furigana to all kanji, only those which are coded to. A lot of sites don't code in ruby tags because it's not yet widely supported (who knows why).

A user style sheet found in the middle of this page enables Safari, Opera and Firefox (and maybe more) to properly display ruby. I'm using it with Safari 3.0.3. It's useful to read at http://www.aozora.gr.jp.
