particles?what,how,and when

I'm stuck on the particles such as wa and o. are there any more?when do i use them and how?

Are you using a text book?

Yes, there are more than just wa (は) and wo (を).

Have a read of Introduction to Particles (は、も、が) and then Particles used with verbs (を、に、へ、で) in Tae Kim's grammar guide.

no and no I'm trying to go the cheap way (probably not the best way but oh well)until i can at least Carry on a basic conversation.

lol that's what i mean iv been using Google, wikipedia, and this site so far, so i ask you guys just to confirm what i learn(i don't entirely trust the other people on the net).
