adding words to IME.
How do I do it?
For example. The word くうぜん > 空然 came up. When I tried to type it with IME it flatly refused. There doesn't seem to be an add-word function, so how do people do it? I saw someone somewhere reference the ability.
Thanks.

The "Add Vocabulary" (not quite sure of the name, as I have Japanese as the default language) function is under the "Tools" menu. If you copy the desired kanji combination to the clipboard, it will be automatically inserted into the appropriate place, then you just have to insert the reading, and choose the part of speech.

突然 is とつぜん。
空前 is くうぜん.

And your IME has:
突然 is くうぜん ???

ahh, found it. Thanks.
Of course now, what part of speech do I select. My options are adjective, nominal adjective and adnoun. it is supposed to be a -taru or -to adjective and I didn't see that anywhere as an option, or am I missing something?
突然 is とつぜん。
空前 is くうぜん.
空然 【くうぜん】 (adj-t,adv-to) (1) vacant and unthinking; (2) something that should be there is not [G][GI][S][A]
Something that should be there is not, a strangely pertinent word.
I don't see とつぜん listed as a reading.
And your IME has:
突然 is くうぜん ???
If it did then I wouldn't be asking how to input the reading into IME.

It's "Register Words/Examples"
