An enquiry regarding Kana.
I have been playing a lot of Slime Forest since yesterday (when I first joined the forum).
Everyone suggested that I download them and play to practice my Kana.
Now, I already knew most Kana from before, and I was under the impression that there were only 46 (92) symbols in all. I also knew all of their pronunciations etc.
I now find my self stumped.
Firstly, a couple of symbols which appeared surprised me. These were the symbols 'We' and 'Wi' in both hiragana and katakana.
Second, the pronunciations given to the Hiragana 'tsu' symbols with the '' (zu) appeared 'Dzu' sAMe with 'chi' '' which appeared 'Dji'.
May someone please elaborate?

RE: An enquiry regarding Kana.
"we" and "wi" are obsolete; you will not see them unless you are reading things published before World War 2 (or classical Japanese).
づ and ぢ are pronounced "zu" and "ji" (roughly), but sometimes in romaji they are given as dzu/du and di/dji to tell them apart from the other kana.
