I look forward to..

In answering a question in a text book I was trying to say "I am looking forward to learning many things from you". Not really sure about how to connect the two sentences I had a stab in the dark with:

あなたからたくさんことを習いをたのしみにしています。

But I feel certain that's wrong. Can anyone enlighten me please?

I think maybe something along the lines of

"いろいろ教えてもらうのを楽しみにしています"　

could be what you want.
As you can see, I have used てもらう which is nominalized by の to be used with をたのしみにしている

If you change たくさんことを習い to たくさん習うこと, it's grammatically correct, but I don't feel like the phrase is very natural. あなた, in particular is rude to use with anyone above station with you (such as a teacher), so that should probably be changed to 先生.

The bigger problem, though, is that it sounds to me like this phrase is something that would not be a good thing to literally translate -- it sounds like a place where よろしくおねがいします would work very well. What is the question in the textbook? What is the context?
