Difference?

I have these two sentences:

面白いなら、絶対に見たい。
面白いったら、絶対に見たい。

Both of which say "If it's interesting, I definately want to see it", but in what way, if any, do they differ? I use different particles なら and ったら.

The first one is correct and the second one isn't.

Well, incorrect for the meaning that you are trying to convey anyway. X-たら is a colloquialism that means "I guess you could say X..." and as such is a shortening of X-と言ったら

If you want to use ったら with い-adjectives you'll need to change them to かった first.

i.e.:面白かったら、是非見たいです。

おもしろいったら is short for 面白いと言ったら (omoshiroi to ittara) "if you say it's interesting".

おもしろいったら is short for 面白いと言ったら (omoshiroi to ittara) "if you say it's interesting".

Well, I don't think I can add anything to the many great explainations already posted in this thread, which I think covers the issue - so I hope the OP doesn't mind me asking a related question.

Could the ば conditional be used in the place of なら in the original example?

The meaning changes slightly.

面白いなら means "it is reported to be interesting / you have reported it to be interesting, and if that really is so, I want to see it"
面白ければ means "There is no word yet if it will be interesting or not / you yourself haven't seen it yet, but if it is interesting, I want to see it"
面白かったら has similar meaning to 面白ければ.

Which one you use generally depends on the situation, and isn't simply a stylistic choice.
