View topic - って Question!
（the road's icy and I just about slipped)..... I have a question about the tte te part. Is the extra te attached to the verb to create a 'and' like sentence?? Can anyone explain? Also! One more question, when using sou da to mean just about happened... is it in past or present? or does it not matter? I would really like to know. Arigatou gozaimasu!
OH! sorry i have one more question...... with the sou thing......

the そうだ bit was in present tense. 滑りそうだった would be 'It seemed like I was about to slip' in past tense.
