Hi! Lately when I've been talking to my Japanese friend, he says む。。。。sometimes. I'm confused! LOL can someone explain what mu can mean? or saying mu .. mu?? Any idea? Thank you.

From WWWJDIC;

む (int) (1) (arch) unh (sound of physical exertion); oof; (2) wow; whoa; (3) (See うむ) yes; yeah; uh-huh; (aux-v)

If you see as うむ suggested it says see うん.

うん (int) (1) yeah; uh huh;

So it could be that your friend uses む inplace of うん.
Don't complain to me that people kick you when you're down. It's your own fault for lying there

THe most common usage is similar to the English "hmmm."
