I'm brushing up on my second year structure before I do an in class comp tomorrow. I wrote this example sentence for the てもいい？ permission structure.

夕ごはんはあなたを連れて行ってもいい？

I'm hoping that this reads, may i take you to dinner?

in informal speech, 〜てもいい is shortened to 〜ていい
