Could you please tell me if this is right? :)

Post by tokiwokoete » Mon 04.10.2006 6:35 am

I was just wondering if anyone could help me by telling me if this is correct:
日本に行ったら一番大切な事はもちろん「楽しむ事」です。 (If I went to Japan, the most important thing would be, of course,
having fun)

Thankyou

(Sorry for double posting! I just realised that this thread would be in a more suitable place in this subforum)

完璧。

You could, however, add a comma after 行ったら, and change the end to と思います instead of です (For someone else, having fun isn't the most important thing, so it's important to show that it's just your personal opinion).

Also, you don't need the 「」.

This is how I'd write it...

日本に行ったら、一番大切な事はもちろん楽しむ事だと思います

Depending on who you are saying this to, you can replace the highlighted part with
と思う which is the plain form of it. ;)
