Ok,

I know how to do should in the context of "you should do/not do XXX" and "What should I do?" but what about the context of "It is to be expected" for example. "You should already know that." thank you.

はず: "should" based on available knowledge.

Your friend said his plane arrives at 3pm. It is now 3:30pm. もう着いたはずです。

べき: "should" based on moral or social standards.

You find a wallet in the street. You should give it to the police, because that's the right thing to do. 警察に渡すべきです。

はず can also be used in はずはない and はずがない.
はずはない is "I don't expect..." while はずがない is more like "there's no way that..."

It's too bad Wakawiki isn't searchable. A search for "should" gets no results. Apparently, the search only works for page titles not page contents. Which makes it pretty much useless.

Actually, I just tested this with textbook. After getting no page title hits it popped 7 page hits based on content. So I don't know why the search function is so inconsistant. I stopped using wagawiki a long time ago since I can never find anything.
