Do you have a translation question?

Can this mean 'nowhere close' based on context?

ie.
銅像を軽々と投げる。あんなのに当たったら1発であの世だ!
しかし銅像は完全に明後日の方向に向かって落ちた。

Haven't seen it used this way before.

あさっての方向=めちゃくちゃな方向。

Somewhat unrelated, but could anyone please translate this? Here's how I understood it.

"(Someone) lightly throws the bronze statue. If you get hit by something like that (あんなのに - is that the correct way to interpret that?), you're doomed! However, it fell in a completely different direction."

I think you're spot on. I think I'd translate 軽々 as 'with ease'
なぜなら、おまえは・・・・・・人形だ
