Hello
I recently heard that this sentence below means "I will always love you"
ore wa omae wo zutto aishiteru
But then I also heard from someone else it should be "...zutto ni aishiteru", which one is correct? If the sentence above is correct from start. The sentence is from a recent manga episode, and I can barely hear the possible word "ni" in zutto ni aishiteru. So is "...zutto ni aishiteru" correct or should it be just zutto aishiteru?
Thanks!
should there be a 'に' or not?

Re: should there be a 'に' or not?
'zutto ni' sounds really weird to me, and my usual dictionary doesn't show any examples using 'ni'. http://dic.yahoo.co.jp/dsearch?enc=UTF- ... x=02210400
Besides which, zutto is naturally an adverb. 'ni' often causes adjectives to act like adverbs, but such grammar isn't need for words that are already adverbs.
A similar phrase, 永遠に愛している (eien ni aishiteiru) uses 'ni' because 永遠 is an adjective and a descriptive noun, but is not by itself an adverb. Whoever corrected you was probably think of some such construction.
(Or possibly the 'ni' is actually in your episode. Just because it's 'incorrect' grammar doesn't mean it won't show up in manga and anime.)

It's already taking the particle 「と」 in the same vein as 「色々と」
なぜなら、おまえは・・・・・・人形だ

I see, thanks a lot!
