Hey everyone,

I've got a question. How would you say something like "it has to be at the same height as...".
For example. I work in a gym, and in explaining the basics of spinning, I have to say:

"the seat has to be at the same height as your hips" and
"the steer has to be a bit higher"

I was thinking about something like:

シートは、腰のとなりにあるます。
ハンドルは、もっとたかいです。

But I just know it sounds all wrong...

Hope someone is smart enough to try this

"The steer"? I don't see any reference to an ox in your attempted translation. I think you mean the "steering wheel".

I was thinking about something like:

シートは、腰のとなりにあるます。

(あるます⇒あります)
シートの高さは、腰の辺りにあることが必要です。

ハンドルは、もっとたかいです。

ハンドルは、より少しだけ高いことも必要です。

(Don't take the above as definitive, but they're my best guesses.)
