Hello. How we can convey the meaning of "maybe it sounds strange" ?
I was thinking of using おかしい音がある, or おかしい聞きます but I think that we can't use that words in that manner.
So I thought something like that may approach that meaning
"おそらくおかしいみたいけれどこれは私の意見です"。

Sounds strange as in you open your mouth and a frog sound comes out? Or sounds strange as in your idea is different from what everyone else is thinking?

You've just given us two different contexts with very little detail. How are we supposed to help if you're not clear? What do you mean by "sounds"? Are you talking about a physical sound as in "the sound that came out of the speakers was strange", or do you mean "seem" as in "although I wasn't 100% sure, something seemed strange about what he was saying"?

I think his example Japanese sentence at the bottom was supposed to be "Maybe it sounds strange (It probably sounds strange), but that's my opinion." (=a sentence to follow a dubious or controversial statement).

Usually 音がする(音 can be replaced with various words that are related to sound of course) and 音を立てる(to make noise) are used when you're literally talking about sounds.

妙な物音がする = I hear a strange noise

If you wanna say "maybe you think it sounds strange" just use a more natural and simple way to say it.
Personally I would say 「変だと思うのかもしれませんが、これは私の意見です。」
