The following is a sentence from 200 essential japanese expressions
nanika oishii ryouri wo tsukuttetabeyou
I'm almost positive this means something along the lines of "Lets make something good(delicious) to eat"
But I'm confused as to the exact meaning of te+shiyou in this sentence

I think it's just the way it's broken up that is confusing.
It should be: nani ka oishii ryouri o tsukutte tabeyou.
Let's make something yummy and eat (it).
The て is simply "and" here.
