Kanji for "mosshoseki" (leave no trace)

G'day all!
I'm having a hard time finding the right Kanji combination for "mosshoseki" a zen term for "leave no trace", when an enlightened person lives completely naturally leaving no trace with no visible signs of the aforementioned enlightenment.
So far, I've got:
没 or 無 followed by 跡 or 迹. I have no idea if any other Kanji and/or Hiragana are required.

It's not mosshoseki. It's mosshouseki/mosshôseki (没蹤跡).

You may have been beaten to it , Tony, but I'm confused that the middle kanji in your response is different to that of Chikara-san's. Your's 没蹤跡 and Chikara's 没縦跡 Do they both mean the same thing?? A quick check at WWWJDIC fails to find either combination Kanji.

I haven't the foggiest idea. I don't know from Zen.

When that happens, I run a Google check, just to see what people use and what turns up.

Switching 座禅 for 禅 cuts it down to 9 hits v. 1 hit.

Essentially, I gather they're interchangeable (cf. English "Theater vs. Theatre"). The word doesn't show up in my Daijirin.

Tried to fix those links for you Tony... you might want to peek and make sure they're still correct.

Basically actual kana/kanji in URLs directly breaks them here in phpbb. So you have to do something like
