Getting my computer to read Japanese

Hi,

How do I get my computer to read Japanese? All I get are these little annoying boxes... It is driving me crazy, AND I want to translate something. Also, does anybody know any sites that can give me the Romanji form too?

Right-click, or click VIEW on your toolbar.

Find ENCODING OPTIONS, either way.

Select JAPANESE (Shift_JIS or EUC-JP are usually the best I've found to use).
