I think the 'sugee' pronounciation is colloquial/informal. Possibly province related (like kansai-ben?).

You'll hear girls referring to guys as cute, and there's nothing wrong with it, but it tends to refer to personality rather than looks.

I asked my Japanese girlfriend how to say "cool" and she in turn replied with "choku." Take it or leave it.
