持ち上げて。解き放して。
So on an (American) album there is a song that contains the lyrics
「持ち上げて。解き放して。」 I have not studied Japanese in awhile but if I'm understanding this correctly it says "Lift up" "Let go".
There is another song on the album that says "Lift me Up, Let me Go"
And I'm wondering if this Japanese text means the same thing in the context and if it could mean something else or if it just literally means "Lift up, Let go"

Re: 持ち上げて。解き放して。
The subject is implied from the context (which is why I find song lyrics so damn hard to understnad.) Basically, it could mean simply lift up and let go, or it could refer to lifting up and letting something go, which could well be referring to 'me.' The only way to know is to listen to the whole song.
Hope that makes sense

But those are the only words in the song... Mochiagete, Tokehanashite.
