i came across a kanji and my sexy kanji book of 2000 didn't have it. i also tried wwwJDIC to try to find it but i totally flailed on the input directions.
here is the hint: it is a five stroke kanji.
on the left, is 口 (3)
on the right is 潤@(2)
I swear I'm not making this up!
Anyone know the reading?:p goo...

Is it this: 叶- キョウ, かな.える, かな.う to grant; answer?
Found it in Jim Breen's WWWJDIC using a multi-radical search.
Sorry, Zen just beat me

That's the most detailed discribtion of a kanji I have ever seen.. :p .. I had not seen it before, but it is a 9 grade one, so that's probably the reason.zengargoyle wrote:

i just looked it up by radicals, EDICT gave what's above. now that i'm home, the Kanji & Kana book lists it as one of the jinmeiyou kanji for names. i'm not sure which source has the most recent info on it's jouyou/jinmeiyou status.
