Musical Instruments = Gakki or 楽器
Japanese Musical Instuments = WaGakki or 和楽器

There is no Japanese word for Western Musical Instruments so that almost every name is in Kata-kana.

Piano = Piano or ピアノ
Violin = Bai-o-rin or バイオリン(or ヴァイオリン)
Viola = Bi-o-ra or ヴィオラ
Saxophone = sakkusu or サックス

Guiter = gitaa or ギター
Bass = be-su or ベース
Drum = doramu or ドラム、taiko is possible but is mainly for Japanese drum.

what else do you want to know?
