A friend of mine who runs a karate school wishes to write the kana for

"The Black Belt is a White Belt who never gave up"...


I know it's a tough one, but can anyone help me?

The word order doesn't matter, I just need that general meaning.

These aren't the exact same meaning, but they are actual Japanese idioms that convey the same idea:
