(I'm sorry I can't type Japanese characters at this computer, everything is Romaji)
In my sport, aikido, we use many Japanese names to identify techniques. I have the meaning and the kanji of most techniques figured out,

The attack of grabbing one arm with one hand is called kata-te-dori (I looked up the kanji for that). Grabbing two hands is ryo-te-dori (still fine with that). Now the one I can't figure out is "moro-te-dori". My teacher tells me it means grabbing one hand with both hands, but I can't find the kanji or the meaning of "moro".

Moro-te is often written with the same characters for Ryo-te, it's just a different reading.

Aikido is an art, not a sport...
I take Aikido as well. Quit 1 year ago because of no money, but planning to go again.
