Gokaku Dekiru?

Postby somenube » Wed 03.12.2008 3:35 pm

I want to take the JLPT3 next year. I know the kana and 80% of the kanji for JLPT4. I am roughly 3/5 done with JLPT4. (I haven't studied the vocabulary seriously yet)
Will this book be to difficult for someone like me? And if not what book would help me with the grammar and vocabulary. Thanks in advance

Any serious beginners textbook course should take you up to about JLPT3 level. I suggest you stick with one of them rather than anything aimed specifically at passing the tests like Goukaku dekiru. Although they can serve as a good supplement.

Ok, so what would be a better book? I really wanted to prove to someone that I know Japanese so I wanted to pass the JLPT (It doesn't matter which one because they wouldn't know). Don't get me wrong though, I enjoy learning it. I would rather learn a lot of Japaneses non JLPT related then pass the JLPT. But I would like to pass. I hope I made my case clear. Thanks
