Actually, there is a grammatical term for this sort of usage; it is called a "momanym".

Surely the OP should read "One and one's friend are 13 ....", well in the Queen's English at least
yeah, this is thread necro, but since someone linked it in another thread, it's fair game if you ask me.
So, no wonder the Queen is where she is.. She's in the only country where one and one are 13.. What a nice place to be..
