Unique Kanji?
Sorry if this has been asked I was browsing through a couple of pages and topics and did not find anything similar.
JLPT4 has 100 kanji and JLPT3 has 300 kanji
My question is the 300 kanji in JLPT3 unique or is it the 100 kanji you learnt in JLPT4 + 200 new ones. Does this apply to the other levels also?

Re: Unique Kanji?
I'm pretty sure it's the total number you need to know (i.e. the original 100 plus another 200), not the number of new ones.

Thank you for clearing that up. Makes it seem a bit easier now.

Re: Unique Kanji?
That is correct. Each level builds upon the previous level. So level 2 includes all level 3 and 4 kanji.
