Can someone translate this from a song??
In part of the song it had:
sotto hoshi-tachi ga yubisashite-iru
And its translation was:
Quietly, the stars point the way
But I dont understand how 'hoshi' can have 'tachi' connected to it since 'hoshi' means 'star'. Oh and is that the right translation up there?? And can...(sorry about flooding with all these questions
) But can someone also explain the translation for every word(if possible)??
sotto hoshi-tachi ga yubisashite-iru

Quietly, the stars point the way

You should post questions like this in the Translation Questions Forum.
sotto = softly, gently, quietly
hoshi-tachi = stars
yubisashite iru = are pointing
Adding the tachi here both pluralizes and personifies the stars. It would be similar to saying "the stars smile down on you" in English.
