RE: JLPT3 chat study group

One week passed.
I guess the people who are interested in a chat-study group of JLPT3, visit TJP at least a week, noticed this thread.

So far, it is supposed the participants who live in GMT+9 to GMT -5 would be main members. It would be a better way that the first session is set on possible time to meet them at the same time.

We know time is priceless, so we need to fix on a schedule.
How about [utc] 2007/6/17 13:30[/utc]?
I think it would be easier to participate to the people who live in West Coast ( still early though).

Let us know your opinions.
Thank you.

I think most members already noticed that Clay-san provides the "kanji -a-Day" e-mail for JLPT3. It must be useful.

Im rather new at this forum (first or second post, but read it for some time) and I am interested in joining this chat group. Do I have to sign in somewhere or something? Or is it too late already? If someone could give me some info i would really appreciate it...

PD: I passed 4kyuu with 351, but I think Im far from taking 3kyuu (so much to learn, so little time) but i wanted to try to do it this year... is that OK?

It's not late at all. All you need to do is tell us your country and time zone. As coco-san said, we're planning a meeting, our first, on June 17th on 13:30 GMT. Can you attend?

1.30 makes it a little trickier, so I just can't say can or cannot right now. sorry, SS ;)

>Akurei ,
please give your time zone... and SS will certainly add you to the list... the only thing will be to log on the chat.
And, we are all at the same point in time : a lot to learn, and not a lot of time; don't worry, it's perfectly OK.

@Akurei-san,
Nice meeting you and welcome to the study group.
FYI, your score was far too better than mine. I would say you are up to the mark to take JLPT3. Do join in the chat session arranged by Coco-san.
As Tanuki have mentioned there, please let me know your country and time zone.

@Caro
It was initially scheduled on 17th June GMT12:00, and I supposed we are going to have discussion for about 2 to 3 hours?
heheheh...... someone must have decided to lunch with B/F huh? ;)

Needed your ID card, your tax payment certification, your bankbooks, and then you go to the State Depart.....
No, nothing needed. Of course you are welcome. :)

Great score! Don't worry too much as other people says. ;)

Btw,

I don't want to be on the list because I don't want you all to schedule around me. But if you are in a password protected room, I"d like to be able come in and watch some if I happen to be on when this happens. I always seem to learn something even if all I do is shut up and listen.
なるほど。

For what it's worth, 12:00 GMT is OK for me, too.

Infidel: OK. I don't think there's any problem with that. ;)

Akurei, do you already have Pandion installed and configured? If not, please go here.

And, yes, you'll probably need a password, but it will be given to you in due time, so don't worry. :)

I'm very glad 風鈴さん would attend our first session! :)
Infidel-san, as Tanuki-san said we will let you know a password when it's needed.

So far,
Caroline-san and 風鈴さん like to start earlier.
Starting at GMT 12:00-12:30 might be better if there is no GMT-7/-8 participant.

I want to hear from Txkun(GMT+1), HeyItsMatt-san(GMT-5), Gundaetiapo-san(GMT-5), Ran (GMT-5) or other " want to join" people who are GMT-5 to -7 residents..

Tanuki-san,
Thank you for your quick response regarding your schedule. Also I appreciate your kind and pointed guiding.

Akurai-san
I added your name on our map.
It would be better that you try a chat room at least once or twice before the first session, so that you can use it more smooth.

風鈴さん
Any correction of my explanations on the 3級団の回答欄 would be appreciated.
よろしくお願いします。
