Practising via manga

Postby Sauna addict » Fri 07.06.2007 9:01 am

Hello everyone! :)

I like making the studying fun, so I thought:
"Hey, why don't we draw manga in Japanese language?"

I know there exits a thread where people put their manga drawings, but I wanted to make a thread where the pics are only in Japanese language. ;)

Ok, I think you got it. Let's begin...

Image

Translation goes...hopefully...

Nervous-looking gaijin:
ええと。。。
トイレはどこですか。
Erm...
Where is the toilet?

Secretary girl
トイレは音楽室のとなりにあります。
Toilet is next to the music room.

Kanji used:
音楽 - ongaku - music
室 - shitsu - room

Feel free to comment, give advice and draw your own little mangas! :D

...

Yes I suck at Japanese... :p

トイレはどこですか。

This is correct, but the manga panel itself has a different (and wrong) sentence.

Whoops! ^^;

Well, it's only a typo, hehheh.
I'll fix it...just a minute... :p

What does the "Kikoru" at the bottom mean?

Ah, that.
It's actually "kyurururuuuu...", a sound effect for tummy growling.

Mainly because the gaijin is having a diarrhea for eating something a bit too exotic. :D

Did you draw this?

... Are they not both gaijin?
Sometimes I think that I'm afraid of thinking, and that scares me.

No, no, no. ^^;
Only the guy on the right side is a gaijin.

You missed the point.

And you didn't answer my first question...

Missed the point? Aww, whatever. I guess I'm too slow anyway (especially when busy, like today).

And sorry, I didn't notice your first question hiding there behind the quote box.
So, yes. I did draw that picture.

*deep sigh*
Definately not my day. :(

Also, the periods are in the wrong place in the picture -- although manga basically does not use periods at all.

Glad to hear that this thread has been somewhat helpful.
Let's see if I can manage to draw another one tomorrow.

And don't forget, you can always put your own works here. ;)

Wow! Very nice! I wouldn't mind seeing more! I could at least read and understand what the guy said. ^^ The woman was a little more difficult but your explanation after is really helpful.

Good work with it. :)
