なぜ日本の掲示板にそれを書いていますか。

Note that to use 書いています the person has to either (a) be literally in the act of writing something, or (b) posting something repeatedly. If you're asking about something that has already been posted, it has to be 書きました.

日本の掲示板 or 日本語の掲示板 is possible; probably they'll mean the same thing although it depends on what kind of board it is.

掲示板（けいじばん） rather than ボド (or even ボード, the proper katakana-ization of "board") is the usual way to say BBS/forum/etc in Japanese, and the particle following it should be で, not に; other than that, not bad.

May I ask why で and not に? I'm having a hard time with particles so this is interesting. ^^

I was thinking "location of action" で, but Chris left it at に - he may know better, or we may just have to wait for a native speaker to chime in.

I know for a piece of paper it's 紙に書きます (you would use で for the location you were in when you wrote the thing), so I extended that to 掲示板 as well, but I don't know if that's correct.

(Although Google certainly suggests it is; 掲示板に書いた gets close to 50,000 hits while 掲示板で書いた only gets 900 or so.)
