Have you tried Amazon?
BTW, your sig image is too large. The max height is 100 pixels.

RE: getting hold of manga
There have been several threads about this, you might try searching for them for suggestions.
Clay, our gracious host, carries a number of manga in the store. Sasuga Books, an American mail order Japanese book dealer, carries a number of manga; there may be a similar British company.
Manga aimed at children (shounen/shoujo manga) generally have furigana; at least one shounen magazine (Shounen Sunday) Weekly) carries sample chapters so you can choose a series you find interesting (look for links to 第一話 on each series' home page.)

RE: getting hold of manga
yeah i was just wondering if anyone here knew where i could go to purchase in person, cos i really dont like the idea of paying £20+ shipping for a 3 quid manga, just thought mabye someone on here would know of somewhere in britain i could buy, that was all because if i use the internet, say to buyn from tjp store i'll end up paying a fortune in postage.

yeah i seen that, but its still shipped from japan, whichis kinda the reason for my post, i cant really justify pay 4 or 5 times what the manga will cost just on postage.
thanks anyways, guess ill just need to bite the bullet and pay for the shipping.

http://www.yesasia.com gives free shipping for orders over $25=£12.50.
There are some shops in London where you can buy Japanese language manga in person, like the Japan Centre, just off Picadilly. But even if you did live in London I think yesasia would still be cheaper.
