RE: Creating a Recommendation List
what's the common thread in your recommendations? good anime, easy to understand anime, funny anime??
(seen via fansubs)
Aria The Animation, Aria The Natural -- the most relaxing anime ever...
Black Lagoon -- action...
Gun X Sword -- somehow enjoyable...
Honey & Clover, Honey & Cover II -- art school slice of life...
Mushishi -- X-Files wierdness... (shiver)
Ouran Host Club -- funny...
Solty Rei -- decent Sci-Fi...
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya -- popular book...
Nanoha, Nanoha A's -- Sailor Moon on steroids, impressive magic... (sadly the third series Nanoha StrikerS is tending towards lameness).
others... (seen on TV)
Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi...
Last Exile...
R.O.D. The TV -- wow...

Awesome to see a fellow fan, I just love this show. Definitly on my top 3 list. Also the only manga I have read, just finished all volumes.
Honey & Clover, Honey & Cover II -- art school slice of life...
This is also just wonderful!!!
Mushishi -- X-Files wierdness... (shiver)
Same with this!
I love your taste;)
So to just mention a couple of other.
Lamune, just a wonderful anime, slice of life feeling to it.
Strawberry Panic, also a wonderful anime. Some enjoyable characters and story
There are of course lots of other good shows, but these are on my top so thought I should at least mention them.

Ranma 1/2! Why hasn't that been mentioned yet?!?!?
I My Me Strawberry Eggs is also a good one. It's a story about a man who wanted to become a gym teacher, was shot down at the first school he asked about the position because he was a man, got determined to show the headmistress a man could do a woman's job, and crossdressed to take the teaching job.
There's also Steel Angel Kurumi, it's weird but I like it. I feel I must warn you that it has an Older Teen rating though so maybe it's not for that list...

There are no dumb questions, therefore, they are all of equal stupidity.

Then there's the ending that whether you get it or not, doesn't really follow the rest of the series and should be scratched from any recommendation list.

Wow, other people that hate Eva exists too? I was beginning to think I was alone. Basically I like comedies. I'm probly rather simple minded and enjoy slapstick humor. But even more so, I enjoy when there's an over the edge character like Tamaki from Ouran, Guu from Hale nochi Guu, or Morita from Honey & Clover.

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest Last Exile「ラストエグザイル」 link (with spoilers)
It's steampunk/sci-fi. I'd recommend it to anyone that enjoyed Fullmetal Alchemist.

I totally recommend Haruhi Suzumiya, weirdest anime i've seen, but very funny and certainly worth watching.
Also Ouran Host Club. Only watched about 4 episodes, but I'm already very much into it.
Everything else i recommend is already in the list so good going
