Magazine Advertisements

Hello. Has anybody ever considered advertising in magazines? I mean, I was looking through my very old issues of my ShojoBeat (SB for short) magazines and I saw a few advertisements for [url]japanforum.com[/url] which made me think about suggesting this. I don't think JP Forum is all that great compared to TJP, because it seems as if you're NOT trying to learn about Japan's culture. Just fretting over manga, anime, and more in the media.
I think that it'd be good that TJP should advertise in SB because it's just a great influence for all and I'd think that it'd be great to show people that TJP can give more context to what people think about Japan other than just anime. I've been reading these magazines for over a year and a half and they are always trying to show that Japan is more than just anime but I think that TJP would be great to be mentioned in it.
Damn, I should just send a letter to SB about this wonderful website.

I do want to promote the site, but let's wait until after the move and upgrade. This server can't take any more traffic!

But this is an interesting idea.

EDIT: I've talked about this a little before, but on the new site it will have a feature called 'Organic Groups' which is kind of like a mini-Yahoo Groups situation. We can create one to discuss ideas and upload artwork for site promotion there. I think it will really work out.
