Hello. I was just wondering, other than dogs and cats, what are some major pets in Japan that you might not normally see in the US? Or are there specific breeds of pets in Japan that are popular right now? Thanks for reading!

The strangest pets I've ever seen in a pet store were a red Squirrel and a monkey. But besides that, pretty much everything that's popular in Japan you can find in America (although there are some Japanese breeds of dogs such as a the 柴犬)
