こんにちは皆さん、久しぶりですね。

このごろたくさん働いたのに日本語が勉強をしました。そのうち、勉強するのは退屈になります。多分、新しい読み物が必要ですね。何が勧めですか。

I guess this is two in one, sharing any links to good reading material as well as any corrections in this message. I think I've come a long way from when I began studying, I just wonder how far. Also, how would I go about making this a bit more natural sounding... if it isn't already that is.

Some corrections:
Your topic title means "I had been thinking that I had practiced." I'm not quite sure what your intent is -- if you're trying to say "I think I will practice", 練習したいと思います is good.

日本語が勉強をしました -> 日本語を勉強しました

勉強するのは退屈になります - this means that it will become boring in the future. If this isn't what you meant, try 退屈になりました (It became boring) or 退屈になってきました (It has become boring).

I think the 私 isn't needed in the first sentence. And if you do put it, を isn't the right particle to go with it.

Gah, past tense got me again.
The title was meant to say "I thought I'd practice". As always, thanks for the help!

EDIT:Wow... how'd I screw up with the を? Must've been more tired than I thought...
