I never answered this, but I think I'd be the scary uncle who likes to start the barbeque grill up by pouring in an entire can of lighter fluid...
But has really great stories to tell about the good old days. Okay, boring stories about the good old days. But kids still like him cause he has no eyebrows and a third-degree burn on his face and can cause a mushroom cloud in the back yard that can be seen for miles.

Don't you just hate that taste lighter fluid gives to steak.

Who would I be if TJP were a family? I don't know, but in my actual family I'm the nephew whom most aunts ask if he's finally gotten a girlfriend.
"Dear, how's university going? Have you gotten a girlfriend already?"

You know, PMS is not a valid legal defense like 'temporary insanity' is.
Sometimes I think that I'm afraid of thinking, and that scares me.

I've just been googling Angelina Jolie to see who she is ^_^
My heroine is Calamity Jane. I once wrote an essay about her life for a school assingment, but it was tossed aside as a load of rubbish.
Don't you just hate these 'know-it-all' school teachers?
Good luck with your speech tomorrow!
I actually had a college professor that had 0 credibility because (even after it being proved impossible, and given a plausible possiblity) claimed to have taken courses on Linux in the early 80s. The creator of Linux (Linus Torvalds) didn't even start working on it until 1991.
The possibility I suggested is that he may have taken courses on UNIX, which was originally written in the 60s.
Maybe he took courses on Minix? I think that could run on XTs and ATs (definitely ATs, my memory is hazy on XTs, and I don't know where to lay my hands on the book I had on it... which had source code for it in the back), and was definitely developed to be a course tool.
I hadn't thought of that one at the time, but he kept insisting he was using RH in that class. Strange, since their first release was in '94.

There was a PC (x86) based version of UNIX available in the '80's called XENIX.
I was going to suggest that maybe your college professor couldn't distinguish between various flavours of UNIX like O/S's but if he is adamant he was using a Red Hat distribution of Linux that is very specific.
