I learned something about setting up the games.

If the person creating the game doesn't access the game, whether via the automatic pop-up or by following the alternate link, then the game creation fails.

And while googling the correct spelling of a name used the game name this round I found myself surfing to some very very disturbing places.

If Henryk Tauber managed to maintain a grip on his sanity after the war, it was some sort of miracle.

Kagemaru is missing in action since November 21st. Anyone know what has happened to him?

Anyone care to start up another game while we wait for him to come back? We'll need one person to double up or one more person to join with us.

Let's wait one more day to see if anyone else would like to join us, and then if not I'll put you down for Russia and the US, as that combination makes the most sense in terms of game play.

We've waited more than long enough, I think. A new game has been created. Val will handle US and Russia. Hark has Germany and Keatonatron moves east to Japan. I will be manning the tea and crumpets watch. As Dame May Whitty was once overheard to remark, "Pip-pip, cheerio, and don't take no wooden nickels."

dang, I forgot about this. I was going to ask to join in when finals are over (which they are as of last Tuesday for me). It's been a long while since I've played and I'm sure I've forgotten most of the play methodology. I'd probly be better starting off with a low impact country (Russia if I remember correctly).

Out of curiosity, what is the time frame for one complete match or round or whatever you guys call it? Do I have to be sitting at my email for a week, waiting for people to take their rounds, or is it much faster than that?

Depending on how this game works, I might join... It sounds very interesting.
