I changed the orange text to red - is that better?

Can they be banned? :D

Thanks. You didn't have to do that. :)

We shall both float to the other side :P

A bit much, but it does solve the problem of users that like non-standard themes.

Since you're new you should check out the FAQ and the forum etiquette. They should help you get used to the forums. For example, this thread has been dead for about 9 months, so the introductions section would be a much better place to introduce yourself.

I figured I might as well note here that we actually changed the chat again. :P

Pretty simple to remember... http://thejapanesepage.com/chat

As long as you're logged in to TJP, you should join the lounge automatically and be chatting without needing to do anything else.

If you're not logged in, it should redirect you to the login page. (due to page caching, it seems to hang sometimes while trying to do the redirect... so if you weren't logged in yet and you just see the "chat loading..." page for more than 10 seconds or so... just refresh the page and you should be taken to the login.)

I should probably go ahead and write a new Chat introduction, port over an updated version of the chat rules since some are now moot. For instance you can no longer chat your name at will, you automatically use your TJP name and can't change it. :) So no more impersonating or things like that.

We hope you'll stop by and say hi!

(We're also still working on things like the quizbot, which is there already, but due to a current limitation of 1 question per answer, we can't really add the vocabulary quizzes yet etc... fixing bugs and adding new features as we go.)

よろしくおねがいします!
