Avatar Image not working?

Hey Clay, for some reason I can't seem to upload a picture for my avatar. Does it have to be a GIF?

I am not totally sure, but i think it rejects large files. jpg or gif should be fine, but make it small. I will try to find out and post the exact specs in a bit

The image i would use was a 13 kb jpeg. Didn't work tho' o.O

Ok. According to info on this forum, the max is:
99x99 pixels
20kb in size

I will see if I can't modify the code to increase the pixel size. Can you try uploading an image within those specs to test?

Try it now. I just changed the code to a max of 50 kb which should be enough and increased the size to 199 x 199. That should be big enough don't you think? I will also modify the edit profile page to put the specs there.

Cool, thanks. The original image I wanted to use I shrunk down. I guess I didn't shrink it down enough! I'll try it out as soon as I get home.

there are other images I would rather use for my avatar but I edited the images like crazy and still they refuse to post. The one I want to use as an avatar is 12.6kb. Oh well.

Is the size within the 199 x 199 pixel limits? If the height is fine but the width is 201, it won't work. LEt me know if this isn't the problem.
