RE: Always
Your link is to the sequel, which I haven't seen yet, but as I mentioned in another thread, part one is one of my family's favorite movies. My youngest son's class performed it as a skit (obviously a shortened version) at their junior high's culture fair (文化祭) last year.
I think these movies would definitely be more useful for studying Japanese than would most animes.

RE: Always
Can you put in a link to the original movie or just a link to an informational page about it?

I'd be interested in a link to the first movie as well. I can't find anything on imbd, although I did just find out that earlier this month 'Always: Sunset on Third Street 2' has been released. Sequels are often not as good as the originals, but I will try to get hold of it anyway.
EDIT; duh, I guess I placed the wrong link in the first place ...
I'm not as clever a I look ^_^

The spoken Japanese is not very text-book style, though, is it?

Of course not. Textbook style is generally not naturally spoken Japanese. However, I think the point was that "Always" is a very realistic movie, so the Japanese in it is much more like everyday Japanese than what you hear in most anime.
