View topic - Any good japanese culture and/or history book?

So I'm looking good japanese culture and/or history book.

And I hope that book contains at the least some pictures (because I hate text only books and my english is not perfect). And it is good thing, if book is up-to-date.

You might want to check this book, Japanin kulttuuri, if it's ok that it's written in Finnish. It has different chapters for different topics, so you can pick and choose if you don't find all of the material interesting. And yes, there are pictures :)
