Anyone know the end of this trick?

I remember my boss showing me some joke/trick at an izakaya, but I only remember the setup, and not the punchline.

You ask someone to come up with 7 kanji using only 日 plus a line. The person is supposed to come up with 旧, 旦, ? 由, 甲, and 田. Then there's some trick to come up with the 7th, but I don't remember what it is.

The trick, as I remember it, is: The tricker writes 日 ten times, like this:

日日日日日日日日日日

and the trickee is told to add one line to each 日 to make a different kanji. The first eight are fairly easy:　白目田旧旦由甲 but the trickee can't think of anymore. The tricker then adds a line to the remaining two 日, resulting in 門.

i was gonna mention that.. but oyaji beat me to it.. you don't tell them how many kanji they can make, you just tell them to add one line to each...
