Manga translation question
In book 29 of Inuyasha, Kagome says "Watashi ga Inuyasha o daisuki datte koto yo." I think the translation is supposed to be somwhere along the lines of "I love Inuyasha" but then I don't understand why Inuyasha is followed by o. Isn't the object of the verb 'suki' always 'ga'?

RE: Manga translation question
"Watshi ga Inuyashi o daisuki gatta da yo."
It means "I like Inuyashi a lot." (Seen by the "dai" in suki and the "yo" ending). You can use either "ga" or "wo" particles in speech, and it doesn't really change the meaning.
"ga" is saying that something does/is that.
"Watashi ga suki." means "I like you."
"Watashi o suki." means "I like you." too, but it more means that I like you like im performing an action (sort of like saying "I give you.")
In this sentence it doesn't change anything, but in others it might.
