Post by Adriano » Fri 12.14.2007 7:41 am

Hi minna! While reading some topics with explanations about japanese in ENGLISH, I thought how much the american people have a great luck, learning 日本語 here without effort, while I´am reading TJP with my dictionaries(english-portuguese) / (japanese/english) opened T____T

So I´am curious.
What´s your mother tongue?

About 5 years ago, when I was learning my first kanas, I was thought that as japanese language has a lot of words in katakana, ALLLL the japaneses speaks very well ... but 幻滅 T____T after I can send some pics of japanese 看板 in the streets with the worst english that I´ve saw in my life, as "NO SMORKING", "WELCOM TO TAKAKURA MOUNTAING" .... :P
But first, I need to learn how I can use this forum well u_u

Also, why all the red?
Sometimes I think that I'm afraid of thinking, and that scares me.

My native language is English, and I'm American. But, you should remember that not all the English speakers here are from the U.S. We have people from Canada, the U.K., Australia, and New Zealand, too.
