My Heart's in the Hielands
Can anyone help me find an Mp3 or some other sound file of this song? I have found at least 20 versions, but none of them are what I'm looking for.
If you have seen the movie 'Charge of the Light Brigade,' then you know which version of this song I'm talking about. All of the ones I have found have the singer rhyming 'highlands' with 'pielands,' but I want one where it rhymes with 'freelands.' Every time I hear a version with 'highlands' instead of 'hielands,' I die a little bit inside.
Thank you kindly...

Sometimes I think that I'm afraid of thinking, and that scares me.

... I was hoping someone here at least would be able to help. I posted this on another forum as well, and got the same response of no response.
68 views and nobody even posted to say 'I can't help?' I guess I should just let this thread die, but not without a fight.

Your question isn't related to Japanese in any way, so getting no response from http://www.thejapanesepage.com would be the most likely outcome.
But if it helps: I can't help.

Then what's the purpose of an off-topic forum, if not to be off-topic?
I just thought that with so many intelligent people here, someone might be able to help. Can't blame me for trying.

Which version of the movie in particular? The one with Trevor Howard as Lord Cardigan?
Don't complain to me that people kick you when you're down. It's your own fault for lying there

Yes, the 1968 version.

OK. Sorry I can't help you at the moment but I'll keep my ear to the ground so to speak.

Well, you COULD Google search it. Of course, it helps to spell "Highlands" correctly.

i think he was spelling it phonetically, as he was looking for something that doesn't sound like pielands. but freelands. of course that would be the scottish.. heeland if I am not mistaken. because the heelanders are what the scots would call themselves.

Thanks, Chikara!
The first thing I did was to Google it... Also, the spelling 'hielands' is something I found on a Scottish website.
