You can hear the Texas twang. Also, it sounds like Rotunda.

I believe Kagemaru is in Kyoto or something... so plus 9 for him too. Although he magically disappeared again, right as the game got good, so who knows where he is right now.

Heh, all this time, I never really looked closely at the spelling and thought it was Valtunda. I hope I got everybody's time zones right now. This way I have a more accurate guess of when people will be making their moves if they follow a normal sleep and work schedule (which I don't)

I have worked out a 14 game rotation for playing two games at a time, trying to make sure the assigned countries rotated around and that everyone got a pretty equal chance of actually being in both games.

Wouldn't it be easier to just make 3 games so that everybody but you is in 2 games at once? I would think splitting groups by time zones might make things go faster too
Obviously, you would be in all of them but for the rest of the peopl

Group 1: Tspoonami, Dehitay, Hark, Val
Group 2: Hark, Val, Keat, Kage
Group 3: Keat, Kage, Tspoonami, Dehitay

Is there a limit as to how many games a single email address can play at any one time? Can you only be in two games at once?
Sometimes I think that I'm afraid of thinking, and that scares me.

Thanks, Dehitay. I had the same idea. As you already figured out, one of the problems with doing it on an entirely equitable basis is that the person creating the game has to be in the game. Instead of placing players in groups of three I laid out the games in groups of three, multiplied by the number of players (7) for a 21 game cycle.

Open Office's spreadsheet came in really handy for this.

I had to make sure that:

1) of each three game set, everybody would be in two of them.
2) there would be a balance of Allied side and Axis side assignments
3) there would be a balance of countries played
4) that the line-ups got shuffled around to keep some variety in it

I've spent the last hour and a half going over it to make sure each of the above conditions was met. I even counted everything up and put it in the spreadsheet. It is now as equally balanced and fair numerically as I am able to make it. If during the course of play anyone should think...."Hey, I haven't played xxx for a while!"....don't worry. Over 21 games it all balances out pretty nicely.

Here's a link to a screen capture of the schedule. Play goes top to bottom (three games) then repeats across the page. "Player 1" and "Team 1" are the same thing. I forgot to edit that bit before posting the image. The bottom bit shows the breakdown on number of times in 21 games a player will be on either the Allied or Axis side. To the right of that is the breakdown on how many times each player has a particular country.

Hooray, my first Axis Victory. If I had any clue what's Mike's spreadsheet represented, I might know which country I'm getting next, but instead I get the excitement of waiting.

You are number 6. With the completion of the last of the unnumbered games I have started #3. Remember that the games go top to bottom, left to right.

If anyone finds themselves NOT in a game, please let me know. No one will be in every game (except me), but everyone should be in at least one active game, and usually two.

I would especially like to thank you Mike for allowing me the wonderful luxury of only to click one button and join the action. (as poor a player as I am)

To be certain, your meticulous administration is not being overlooked.

Much appreciated thank you!
