Writing In japanese fonts online

ive been google-ing on how to write online in hiragana and katakana, could find how to do it though...

does anyone know how to do it?

sorry if this is a stupid question, im very new and working my way through hiragana

Guitarplayer7694 sent me in this direction, which got me typing hiragana, katakana, and kanji with relative ease. http://www.coscom.co.jp/help3/inputjp/installime.html
